Elizabeth van der Pol is a certified academic language therapist with a Master’s degree in Special Education from Midwestern State University. She also holds certification as an educational diagnostician, specializing in dyslexia evaluations. Since 2012, she has been a certified Lower Elementary Montessori Guide and an educator in public schools in the Houston area, dedicating eight years to teaching in a public lower elementary Montessori classroom. In 2020, her professional focus shifted to supporting students with dyslexia, a field in which she actively engages through teaching, research, presentations, and sustained commitment. Beyond her professional pursuits, Ms. van der Pol is a mother of two active boys and enjoys running, biking, and gardening.
